With the crashing sounds of the worlds' banking systems crumbling around our ears, our huge multi-national companies have made drastic cuts in their workforces; and, it would appear, the days of employer/employee loyalty, and job security, are now long gone: the illusory "comfort" of knowing that we all had "jobs for life", is now just a fast fading memory.

One of the consequences of this financial corporate disaster is that thousands and thousands of ordinary people have now become bitter and disillusioned by the conduct of the banks, and feel let down by their employers. Particularly as it is these self same banks who, according to informed opinion, were the primary causes of the financial melt down that caused the world recession.

Paradoxically many of these banks hold mortgage charges over the houses of the unfortunate families of people who now find themselves out of a job. However, mankind is a very resilient species and one of the encouraging side aspects of this situation is that a huge number of people who, having lost their jobs, decided to take on the challenge of carving out a new future for themselves, and overcoming their deep seated fears of treading new paths, they embraced new technology, and turned to the internet as a way of making a rich new life for themselves and their families.

We now live in a digital world, and the advent of the internet and cell phone technology has presented us with a bewildering array of new ways, systems and methods of "doing business", it's now possible to make a good income from your desktop computer, laptop, and now the latest and hottest way of making cash is from your Cell Phone!
It's a known fact that, nowadays, there are more individual people who own a cell Phone than own a computer; amazingly, over 4.3 billion people now own cell phones. And, in many, many, cases many people are now earning far more money for themselves and their families, than they used to make when they were wage slaves, working 9 - 5, for their old bosses!

There are numerous examples of people who, having been laid off from their old jobs, have subsequently become "internet millionaires". The technology now exists for ordinary people, of modest ability, skills, and means, to build simple web sites that generate six figure incomes, or by creating and selling information products from their computers or cell phones, or affiliate marketing: which is simply the promotion of any of the millions of products created by other people.

So, the reckless financial irresponsibility of many of our world famous financial institutions has not been all doom and gloom for everyone, but has had a beneficial effect on the lives of a many people and their families. The internet is still relatively young and is still evolving; there are lots of business opportunities for people to learn new skills, and to create a much richer life for themselves; so, why not take the plunge yourself, I'm glad I did!
